Meditation for the immune system

The Inner sun.

This breathing meditation is very effective to give your immune system a boost.

How to do it:

Sit in a cross legged position or on a chair with feet flat on the floor. Straight spin, chin in, chest out.

Bend the left arm and raise the hand up to shoulder level, the palm faces forward. Press the thumb and the ring finger, the others fingers point up.

Make a fist with the right hand and extend the index finger. Close the right nostril with the right index finger.

The eyes are closed and look at the third eye point.

Begin a steady breath of fire, and continue for 3 minutes. With time slowly increase to 5 minutes.

To end:

Inhale deeply and hold the breath. With the breath held interlace the fingers (with the right thumb in top) and put the palms in front at a level just below the throat (in front of the thymus) and about 14 inches away from the body. Try to pull the fingers apart with great tension. When you must, exhale. Repeat this sequence 3 more times. On the last exhale, blow the breath forcefully through the upturned lips, with the tongue curled back on the roof of the mouth. And relax.
